Bar Slide Transitions

With Bar Slide Transitions applied to videos inside DaVinci Resolve, you can create a sliced effect as he transitions progresses to the next clip. As the first clip is transitioning out, it gets sliced in rectangular shapes, then the next clip starts appearing in the foreground while the shapes are animating into the view. Keep your audience engaged and focused on your videos using transitions that create a natural progression.

Bar Slide Transitions for DaVinci Resolve offer a base transition design, which cuts the video clip into pieces which slide away and slide into the main view. Other presets inside the pack offer the base transition in different flavors. For example, the video slices may happen diagonally, vertically or horizontally. Furthermore, these presets also differ in the number of slice the video is cut into. It could be 5 slices, or 10, which further give different looks and transitions.

Customizations

Bar Slide Transitions come with over 40 different transitions, all which can be customized to change the look and effect of the transition. Editors can choose how the next scene comes into the foreground and how the first scene transitions away. By clicking on the transition and looking at the Inspector Window, you will see controls under the Transitions tab. Change the Clip A and Clip B controls to see how the transition will change, and select the one that best matches your video.
